But it wasn't "just a white person thing" even to the very limited extent to which it was accurate in the first place.
When this was pointed out you leap to the defence of the original joke - not by saying "guys it was just a joke" which would be fair enough but by saying "no white people really are terrible."
And your latest shows you can't, or at least don't want, to separate anyone saying "I think it's not ok to shit on people of any race, even when it's white people" from white supremacism.
You can enjoy the joke and still let yourself get educated about the reality without getting weirdly defensive about disparaging a group of people.
That is totally what's going on here, yes, thank you for educating me.
