This guy is a complete moron, the comments are full of people accurately translating the signs indicating historical structure under renovation, it's an active fucking construction site of course it's not open to tourists
The other guy speaks fluent Mandarin. There's more of what I mentioned in the rest of his Uyghur videos. Plus he was detained by police and told not to film anything or talk to anyone lol. That's totally normal I guess.
You're linking a propagandist that doesn't speak mandarin nor Uyghur, and is walking around trying deliberately to manufacture propaganda. The entire channel seems dedicated to propogating western exceptionalism and demonization of non-white nations.
He has a video talking about how awesome a town is in China and how there's nothing as nice in America because of old infrastructure and homeless/drug addicts everywhere. He's just a dude with a travel YouTube channel. I'm sorry China isn't perfect.
There are countless other travel channels that do a much better job of showing off Xinjiang, with people that speak Uyghur and Mandarin.
