Hm, almost like that was the plan the whole time. They can say they tried and aren't as nasty as those Republicans (WHO ARE NOT DEMOCRATS) though right? Democrats fully support fascist policies y'all, they're hoping this admin collapses and affords them a reputation that enables those policies with greater public support.

You're aware it was only a handful of Democrats who defected, right? They didn't unanimously decide to roll over, 8 flipped and 39 are still against it

8 flipped and some fraction of those 39 are happy to use the 8 as cover.

Like they did when 8 senators worked with republicans to kill the minimum wage increase.

EDIT: Shaheen, Hassan, and King voted no on the minimum wage increase and also voted yes on ending the shutdown.

Same thing happened with the Obamacare public option if I remember correctly. It's such an obvious pattern but people refuse to see it for what it is.

How many times do we have to witness the rotating villain game in the Democratic Party before we realize that's all the party is at this point. Its an illusion of resistance to fascism that protects structures of power and prevents any real change from happening.
