MAGA politics tend to have that effect, yes
But I only like it when politics destroys other people's families!
The family destruction came first. You don’t get to that level of cynical populism with a healthy family life and outlook.
Yeah, when someone thinks that my entire life is wrong and/or that some humans deserve torture and punishment just for existing, that's bad for interpersonal relationships.
Idk man. If you can give hospitality to people who think pedophiles shouldn’t be persecuted your upbringing went horribly wrong and your family sucks.
Be sure I would have invited you. But then turned you away at the doorstep. Like did you really think I would let you in with the kids and the pets? Get out of here! LOL
Or you could say that I don't want absolutely garbage people in my house. Why on earth would I want a bunch of racists in my house? And why would I be forced to accept it just because we share a few genes?
If you wouldn't accept something from your friends or your chosen family, you sure as hell don't have to accept it from blood relatives. Blood relatives aren't special. They don't deserve special treatment. You don't get to pick your family; you get stuck with them. Not everyone is lucky enough to have decent people in their family.
