Actually my stupid person uses Grok.

He's so smart that Elon Musk is his hero. His thinking has more dimensions, so he can see more than your average sheeple. He knows all the bullshit in the world.

He recently bought Tesla although he had half a million euro debt from his previous investment escapades and now can't really afford his kids hobbies anymore.

If you listen to him long enough you'll get a brain cancer, because your brain can't handle all those dimensions.

yes

buying a used Tesla is not great, but not horrible depending on if you lowballed the previous owner or not

but TSLA is dumb af

The worse case investing in TLSA is you lose money. The worst case buying a telsa is being trapped in a burning car because the car decided drive off a cliff.

not necessarily. they are indicative of different motivations though

I had somebody send me an essay written by chat GPT a couple of days ago It was going off about all the various retcons that Star Trek Discovery had done as well as all the times they broke canon, specifically with technology. It's straight up made up multiple episodes and even invented an entire season. Only one claim was slightly accurate but that one is also disproven, just in a very small way. I hate humanity.

Open AI alignment intentionally obfuscates any potentially copyrighted works. People get so confused between what is agentic citations in search results, and what is actual model dialog.

Does that distinction even matter? The bullshit generator confidently generates bullshit, it doesn't matter whether it's making that up itself, sourcing from some dis/misinformation campaign, or just some guy behind the scenes lying to you, the end result is the same.

It really does matter. It means that a version of the technology exists without the obfuscation and it is likely scary powerful.

Just with the small models I play with offline, some of the uncensored ones are much more powerful.

They're told that by me, too, because they're too stupid to get sarcasm and I don't have the energy to argue.

Remember that one episode where Wolowitz had his dick stuck on a robot hand.

Damn, can't believe all those other people are being lied to, I'm just glad I'm smart enough to realize that my opinion is the obviously correct one or this might happen to me to anyway have you heard the earth is flat?

[–] dejected_warp_core@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

have you heard the earth is flat?

Hah! What a hilarious take. It's clearly a four-day timecube.
