I nearly walked away from a co-op once when he couldn't figure out how to navigate a windows file explorer directory to the file path I'd sent him, after a couple minutes of it I'd nearly had enough
it's sorted alphabetically.... L is near the middle .. no you're in the Ts now...no, not that folder, go back... just once, not twice... open the Word document, not the PowerPoint...
*I'm not exaggerating, I remember checking the time, it took at least two minutes from him starting to navigate to when we finally opened the document I sent him. I didn't even want to attempt to try having him paste the file path into the address bar, I thought visual navigation would be easier for him..
Decades ago I ran a "house doctor" service and I marketed primarily to seniors, because they had the money, and were least likely to want to crawl under the desk and start unhooking things, etc. I got so busy at one point I had to stop answering the phone.
Anyways, I remember this one guy that just needed me to get his printer working, so he could print bikini pictures from the Internet. Not porn. Not anything hardcore or even more lurid than that. Bikini pictures only.

I think he was just a complete kook. I mean it's hard to describe all the details... But the way he kept his home, the way he dressed and kept himself. His insane comb over where the hair on one side of his head was like 4 ft long and he turned it into like this turban type deal. I think he was just low-key bonkers.
I like to imagine he just appreciates the forest porn he found as a teen, and wanted to return the favor.

The real community service is teaching them how to go to correct sources and hide their tracks. Teaching about the least malware riddled streaming sites, deleting history, not saving bookmarks to the main bookmarks tab bar on a shared computer, etc etc.
