Most people don’t have wheelchairs either, yet crosswalks have those little dips in the curb for wheelchairs. And consequently it’s far more pleasant now for cyclists and any other person traveling on sidewalks with wheels

I mean to be fair many memes are posted on reddit and lemmy is comparably tiny to reddit, so cross-posting can be valid.

Yeah the only problem I have is that there are very few posts here and the communities have far fewer people. Reddit isn’t like TikTok how it can be pretty much replaced by IG reels or YT shorts, since it’s really unique with its content and community.

That said, every Reddit moderator is a fatass with a kink for how their own armpits smell

Emphasis on the government… and those uneducated southerners who think that a pedophile makes a better president than a woman

I wish I was lucky enough to grow up in those times. Recently a mother almost lost custody of her kid because he was outside on his own.

Oh I left Reddit because they permabanned me for something that wasn’t even violent and the platform is built specifically to make it hard to appeal and they don’t even give you warning like “take this down or we’ll ban you” you just comment and a few minutes later your account is lost to the ether.

God I hate that place so much.

Because the things they do make the anonymous internet hate them.

Gabe Newell is a rare example of someone who is rich and has a decent amount of power but still the majority of the internet loves him

What? By that I meant I remain unaffected by squabbles between streaming services

Can’t speak for them, but I am never buying something from Nvidia again.

Ai wasn’t widely discussed until these past few years because it wasn’t threatening to take our jobs then.

Of course we are using data centers for places like these, but these public forums are built for people. While the CEO of Nvidia only referred to people in his latest (?) speech as “humans”, and the only reasonable explanation would be to distance yourself from everyone so you don’t feel the empathetic pain of being the direct cause of the ram shortage.

Not to mention, the cost of producing AI generated images is significantly more than just saving and sending and receiving text and images for a place like this.
