Back then, you'd find usable info on the web. Now everything is buried under centuries worth of AI slop read. Plus it was more accepted to have blind spots on your knowledge. Now everyone using AI raises some bars and the only sucker not using AI gets a worse grade.

yet, wearing a band shirt implicates interest. imagine talking to sb using that as a lead and them being clueless. At least have a story why you'd wear a bands shirt you dont know (its my brothers etc.)

I would accidently pack a slipknot shirt of my (rather big-boned) classmate after sport. My mother washed the clothes and would wear it in the garden as it would fit nobody else. I had no idea and never told her but seing her gardening even years after my graduation in a slipknot shirt was hilarious.

You really only need to replace 10% of jobs. There are talks of replacing software devs with AI. And developing is one of the more complex tasks in office environment. Imagine 10% of the country rioting. Thats suddendly millions of people. You dont have sufficient police or prisons to handle that.

There's a conflict index which predicts conflicts based on whether the population is able to feed, house themselves, find a spouse (think cultures with multiple wives) or find a job. In short, civil war is 3 missed meals away. This is espacially dangerous with this new generation not being able to provide for children. Nothing to lose.

Similar story with Tesla's Berlin factory. Musk even said look look everywhere is water hurr durr. Politicians folded like teen girl fans meeting their kpop idol. Fast forward factory operates and household's waterconsumption in the far area is rationed. Turns out you cant take just all the water you see without damaging the ecology.

I mean, if we negotiate WFH that's some benefit worth money. Workload shouldnt matter if its full time i drop the pen after 40h. I think a person accepting a lowball offer will go on looking and you onboard for nothing.

Dont worry, as parents you wouldn't (want) to see action either. You get up, handle your offspring, go to work, gethome to just handle the offspring again. Depending if they had mid-day sleep you may be allowed to do chores starting 19-23pm. Actually working is more relaxing than being 100% of the time on adrenaline because your toddler tries to hurt themselves all the time. You just lack energy for romance. Trying for a second is a chore.
