No kidding. Until they elect a new FDR or equivalent, you know there's a 30% chance they're a fascist and a 30% chance they're a fascist collaborator.

Like... the majority of them were okay with this. An overwhelming majority if you factor in those eligible to vote who didn't. Up until a bunch of them start getting hit by the tariffs and stuff, they didn't really care either. "Canada, eh? Who cares." I've basically been stuck in a situation in my head where I'm like "I want to be polite so I don't want to just blatantly ask "Did you vote and if so who for?" but Idk what to say"

I don't think it's impolite. As an American migrant to a foreign country, it's one of the first things most Americans ask each other.
