For those not reading the article it’s about Proton’s new Data Breach Observatory Initiative. They actively monitor forums and notify companies when someone posts about credentials or other information. It mentions that often only the biggest attacks get reported but they want to help make it easier to see those that may not get announced.
Further down there’s a list of 10 recent breaches with company names, quantity of records found and the kind of data. There’s nothing pointing to them trying to sell or offer anything but information they’ve found.
