The GOP really thinks there won't be any more elections, don't they?
At the speed at which this is happening, there won't be, and I'm not joking.
No one is coming to save us.
Arm up. Train. Help everyone you can arm up and train. Form networks and use encrypted messaging apps to communicate.
I'm not going to pretend like I know how this will play out, but the one thing I know is that our federal government has been captured by literal fascists and they're going to dial this up to 11 and see what happens. Maybe they simply don't have enough national support to really pull it off. Maybe they do. I do know that you don't want to be unprepared if they do.
It can happen here. We never thought we'd be where are are right now. But we are.
There will be elections. They'll just be sham elections in the places where they're overseen by Republicans.

Yeah, if trumples is still around by the next election they will try for a 3rd term with all the fun times that will bring.
But if he's dead/has been trundled off to a gar gar home (he's 99.5% of the way there anyway), then I think they'll have a hard time of it.
