Yes, and also "can you do me a favor?" "I'd like to do you a favor, but I'm going to need to know what it is before I'll know if I can do you this favor."
I usually answer with "depends on the favor".
I always say "what do you need?". It's affirmative, it sounds and feels like a yes in the moment, but it's not... It's a request for more information
