Really? Roots grow pretty slowly. You'd have a small perturbance, then a little bump, then an annoying bump. This is a "kitchen is almost unusable" level of floor displacement. And considering the rest of the room doesn't look like it was ignored for 10 years.....
Was more of a joke, because yes the popped out tile separators show that this happened recently and with lots of force. I was thinking of the way sidewalks often look like this because of tree roots.
I just step over it. I don't see the problem.
I'm pretty sure this was caused by the material expanding too much on a fresh install, that's why there's the white spacers in the pic, as to why it expanded so much I don't know
