Yep Farœ Islands can be pretty windy. This here is Múlafossur waterfall, near Gásadalur. One of the most magical places I have ever visited.

We went to the bird cliffs in Iceland and I legit lost my voice because the wind was so strong I had to yell at the top of my lungs for my wife to hear me from a foot away.
