I'm glad Bob Ross is still popular. He was always my go-to in the early morning after a night of partying, and his skills were even more impressive when I was sitting on the couch, dazed and confused, with the loot from the fridge spread out in front of me.

Bob Ross was always on at 2:00 on PBS, which lined up perfectly for me finishing college classes and getting home. It was always such a nice way to de-stress after school.

Years later when I would babysit my 2 year old nephew, I found that it was actually a good show for kids to watch and calm down. Something about his whole demeanor is just magical.

I'd say Bob Ross is always a good choice – in any context and for all age groups.

agreed! so much humble skill on display and trying to impart that upon the world, instead of hiding it and charging out the ass

Could you imagine a modern day Bob Ross? "And now we're going to mix a little Titanium White with some Phthalo Green - and while we're doing that, don't forget to like and subscribe."

To be fair, there's a bunch of channels on YT where people just quietly and calmly do something they're good at. But you don't really see them.
