Keyword filters and curating your youtube algorithm is your friend.
Thank you! Somebody telling me to "curate my YouTube Algorithm" is an excellent example of the sadness that is dispensed
Its not so hard. If you see something you're not interested in, use the "Not Interested" button in the video options.
If you're constantly seeing channels you don't like, use "Don't Recommend Channel".
Just rawdogging the algorithm is like speedrunning the path to depression. You have the power to change this aspect of your daily life. A few extra taps here and there can have a massively positive effect on your day-to-day.
Honestly I deactivated history, which disabled the feed. It felt bold and overkill but actually I don’t miss it one bit. I only look for channels and content I like, my YouTube screentime went down 90%.
