Not many things I can think of more shitty than US politics.
If we had memes in the 1930's everyone would be like "dang it's Hitler this and Hitler that all day, can we talk about something else, like how we hate immigrants and Jews".
1934 Germnay: "Hitler visits Italy to make peace, while an unhappy France, accompanied by the God of War, watches."
1934, Meanwhile in America: “America for the ‘Americans’! The extraordinary increase in the population of Negroes and Jews is causing headaches for the more established Americans.”
Everything is filled with US politics. People just dump stuff wherever.

One of the books I had to read in school was Animal Farm by George Orwell, where the tyrannical leaders are pigs. Quite ironic for him to say that as the pigs were the ones censoring the other animals.
His outbursts do seem to reveal some of the nature and extent of the propaganda fed to him by his entourage. I imagine a lot of it is just classic fascist handbook stuff, the very things Orwell, Huxley, Atwood, etc. wrote about.
