i have this conspiracy theory that the world is run by psychopaths and they're the ones who spread all these ridiculous conspiracy theories about how it's reptilians/the jews/the illuminati/the deep state/the NWO/the globalists/etc etc
They do this to distract from the fact that the world IS run by a secret cabal of people, but it's basically like Psychopaths Anonymous. all the high functioning ones get together and plot about how they're gonna scam the planet
Except that it's not a secret nor hidden.
I bet 99% of mid/high level politicians are very low on empathy, high level: large fragile egos.
That's why democracy is needed, so that we can kick the mofo out.
You are not wrong. It's not even a theory.
Studies have shown that most corporate CEOs exhibit many psychopathic tendencies. It's how they are able to rise to the top, they don't give a fuck about anyone else, so it doesn't get in the way.
Then they use the money from those positions of power to try and manipulate whatever sociopolitical ends they want. They buy media companies to manipulate what narratives are told to the public, and how certain situations are covered, spun, or ignored entirely. They use those companies to create artificial campaigns turning certain groups against each other as distractions. If people are arguing about "small" things, they don't have time to notice the big things being done.
No, there are several regional cabals of people with iffy not-really-collaborative relations, and each one of those have some power taken by smaller, less powerful cabals of people with varying degrees of alignment.
