Release the Trump/Epstein files

Want this news months ago? How are they "releasing" months old news? Or at least weeks old. I forget and have trouble keeping up with all his depressing antics.

Even if we ignore the doodle

And that given all we know about about trump and Epstein, we know that the inside joke between them here is about pedophila, or at the very least about them being creepy misogynistic sex pests.

And let's assume that despite everything we know about them that somehow this is about something inane, like a shared love of football, or model railroading, or going to McDonald's for hamberders or something.

Can we agree that this is just a really fucking weird and creepy way to write a birthday letter? Someone tells you they're going to put together a book of letters from friends for someone's birthday and this is what you spit out? The script of some weird scenario you imagined where the two of you are responding to a voiceover and jerking each other off about your shared hobby?

If I got a letter, card, Facebook post, message, etc. like this from someone I know, I'd ask them if they're alright because that's a fucking weird way to send a birthday message.

Why are Republicans so attracted to weird pieces of shit?

Insecure minds attach to authoritarianism because they rely on narratives and a sense of promised security. It's literally the answer, it's been studied.

I'm insecure as fuck, but I'm not a Nazi...

Yep!! I get that sense of humour is a personal thing but this is utterly weird. It's creepy, and not normal. I'm a dv outreach worker and men that do weird things like this are often highly sexually abusive. It's just... creepy AF

Clinton met with Netanyahu in the Oval Office in February 1997. Subsequently, according to testimony Lewinsky gave to the special counsel’s office, Clinton’s secretary Bettie Currie reached out to Lewinsky to invite her to an Oval Office meeting, telling her Clinton “had something important to tell her.”

It would turn out to be their final sexual encounter, but Clinton also used the opportunity to tell her that “a foreign embassy” had tapped his phone and recorded their conversation, Lewinsky said. Clinton did not specify which embassy, though the meeting with Lewinsky came the month after his meeting with Netanyahu.

This is the picture Jeffrey Epstein had hanging in his house

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 9 points 23 hours ago (3 children)

I don't doubt for a second this was Epstein's true "purpose", and that he collected blackmail material (or kompromat, as you prefer) for multiple intelligence agencies, including the CIA and FBI.

This is why Barr had him killed. A bunch of old-school republican and Democratic monsters were in those videos.

This whole thing underscores how weak the corporate news sewers are. They're really poorly done PR, with very occasional random acts of journalism actually making it out the door.
