You do not win over people who are delusional by playing into their delusions, you acknowledge their delusions and explain it in another way. These people who believe thousands of lies from talking heads mostly got there by not being forced to acknowledge their shortcomings, whether it be about their tribalism, paranoia, guilt, or outright bigotry, it was because those views preexisted and were coddled. Because fascists, at least at the time, viewed support for other ethnostates as a means to an end for their own goals. Their opinion turned on a dime because it was no longer a popular and largely positive example of an ethnostate working, at least in the mind of Americans, who she wants to appeal to.

MTG supported Israel right up until Trump ruined her reputation in the party. She wasn't remotely shy about her support either. Now she doesn't? I mean we can support her current disdain, but she's obviously not authentic in her stance.

I think the point is that even MAGA people have a basal anger in people who take a slice of their pie. Media and corporations are very good at preparing the runway for big projects and so the talking points are all figured out before they lay the first brick. In Luigi's case it was sudden and it broke the cycle and allowed an insight into how their brain really worked in lieu of a narrative. The issue is that the unified message of their news sources is playing up the Illusory truth effect.

They only cheered until their satellite feed beamed the "correct" opinion into their brain. It was actually super interesting to see the speed of propaganda in real time with the most gullible people in America.

Pretty sure leftists have been more outspoken than liberals. On the day the court stripped away black representation in congress Chuck Schumer was praising Trump for some stupid horse shit. There's a debate between who's worse between do nothing democrats and fascists who accelerate the pain and force people awake. They're both relatively valid views, but the primaries are the most important election in both arguments.
