But according to the Associated Press’s Farnoush Amiri, an anonymous U.N. official said the escalator in question was actually stopped prematurely by someone from Trump’s group, who ran ahead of the group and accidentally triggered a stop mechanism. The official added that the teleprompter that Trump was so upset about was also being operated by his White House.

The U.N. headquarters must be moved out of that joke of a country.
i took a section of what was said and gave it a quick edit to demonstrate how this is a great example of stochastic terrorism. the clear sections are focused on while the highlighted portions are prioritized. the rest can be disregarded as either media theater, filler, or a strategy for plausible deniability. the people influenced by this will hear or read it all but their minds won't treat everything as equal, and these fascists know that and are counting on it.
I think someone should just take a whip cream pie and throw it in Jesse’s face in public. Remember when people used to pie people? Let’s bring that back.

No, this is absolutely unacceptable, and I hope they get to the bottom of it, and I hope they really injure, emotionally, the people that did it.

Likelihood is very low, but if I'm ever taking an escalator and I see Trump on it behind me - you better bet I'm dropping my phone and awkwardly hitting the 'emergency stop' button at the top.
