What do they believe in? What is the context of this?

I have mixed feelings about rage bait. Sure it is funny for folks, who are not as mind twisted. But is this worth it, considering the harm done by affirming hateful opinions? Most of the "victims" will probably never find out they have been hoaxed (by the rage baiters).

Oh I accidentally implicated I could benefit from projecting. I actually meant, I could benefit from understanding projection better, because I wondered how I might be projecting myself.

Thanks for your explanation. I comprehend it better now.

Can you explain projection in this context? I feel like I could benefit from the concept, once I understand it better.

What is it like to live with her? Is she crawling around freely in your apartment? Does she bite? How did she feel about being covered up in vegan butter?

Thank you for donating organs! Not to the snake (right?), I just recognize the card in the background.

...if Lemmy had users in the Millions I think it would be much better.

At least until a certain threshold is reached. I think part of Lemmy's charm comes from it being a small community. Though maybe this can be sustained by having more active sublemmys forming smaller groups again.

I love how you can always expect elaborate answers to your questions here. Also there seem to be less trolls and unfriendly comments in general. Pleasant culture.

People seem to use this term unconsciously, so they do not have to change anything. Because what is the problem about being an introvert? The power of language is marvelous.

Sure, the general "birth control is bad for you" message is not optimal. But the root of this misinformation are insights about the side effects coming up more or less recently. iirc one third to half of all women on hormonal birth control experience major side effects like headaches, nausea or mood changes. I can see how these significant findings combined with patriarchy awareness and associated anger led to exaggerated messages.

Nonetheless, I think people thinking more critically about birth control is a good thing as one should always consider both benefits and risks.

Edit: Or did I misread this post? If so, I'm very sorry...
