That first x-ray picture always cracks me up because it's obviously fake... That's not how bones work
Actually, it is how bones work for many species. When you are born, the ends of your bones are not yet "ossified" and are mostly made of cartilage. So they will not show up on x-ray.
Picture obviously can still be fake, but that actually is mostly how bones work for fetuses or infants of many species.
i mean. this is a completely normal pediatric knee x-ray:
and as for the difference in flesh shape it would actually make sense for the hair to be less radioopaque than the flesh itself...
it definitely is fake but that is kinda how bones work sometimes if they want to or haven't finished getting where they're going yet.
It's also obviously not even the same paw flesh-wise
