Rules:

Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

You need to deal with your worthless president hellbent on destroying the planet.
How. Tell us how to fight back against one of the most highly militarized police forces in the world and the most powerful army in the world? How are normal middle class Americans supposed to fight back against that? I mean I love the fantasy of fighting back, but tell me exactly how to do it. You tell me that and I'll start doing it.
I'd be willing to bet a decade from now we'll know that Trump probably cheated in the election and Republicans stole it. If there wasn't vote manipulation I'd be extremely surprised, knowing what we know about this administration and the people running it. How are we supposed to fight back against a system this fucking rigged?
It's really fucking easy to sit back in your armchair and call us dumb or lazy for not doing anything about this. I'm sure a lot of us would love to do something about it, so why don't you tell us how.
Stop paying your taxes and buying shit? Violence? There I gave you a couple solutions go do 'em.
Cool, so have our social security, property, etc taken away by the IRS. And starve ourselves.

I actually like the first one, not paying taxes. I actually already stopped doing that. That said, I cheated my ass off on my taxes to do it. I may get audited, I might not. But you're still going to have an awful lot of Republicans paying taxes and a lot of other people who don't want their property and social security, etc taken away.
You want to hear what I think about this? If our supposed NATO allies would actually you know help us out, that would be fucking fantastic. We've known he was a Russian asset for a fucking decade, and none of our allies have done a damn fucking thing to help us.
You want us to fight back? Do what the United States did with other revolutionary forces. Start sending money, start training insurgent groups, start arming people. Help us fight back.

You realize that fascism isn't exclusive to the US right? It's actually spreading to other Western nations. If we don't start helping each other, you are going to be just as fucked as we are. It's only a matter of time. It would also serve NATO well to keep the strongest military in its alliance, in its alliance. Otherwise if world war three breaks out, well you guys are going to be pretty fucked.
Maybe the smart response here isn't just to say "no one's coming to help you out". Because that's worked out pretty well for you so far...
