- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

A shutdown is the best case scenario for dems right now.
Shut it down and never reopen
This and unironically. Keep it shutdown till after the mid-terms.
Say you'll only open the government if Trump steps down and calls for new elections.
This is precisely what good leadership from Dems would be in this moment.
Instead they are getting clowned on after claiming to be “getting through” to Trump in negotiations.
It’s truly pathetic how hard Dems are working to maintain the facade that they aren’t controlled opposition and the government is still somehow functioning. If they worked half as hard for the working class they’d never lose another election in our lifetimes.
At minimum demand the full and unredacted Epstein files

Only if they don't cave in the first week. They need to clearly articulate the demands to American people and draw a line in the sand.
If they cave without anything the optics would be terrible.
I wish I had any trust that we have any representation and this would happen.
