Democratic party could have won in a landslide for speak up for their base who didn't want a genocide, but no, they wanted it and stuck to it.

At least democrats didn't have to abandon unconditional genocide support. At least they didn't have to follow the Leahy law. They'll make up every excuse under the sun to block progressive legislation, but straight up ignore the law to sell weapons for genocide.
