We're getting ever closer to world run by right-leaning authoritarians and you're worried about getting killed by tankies?
Yes? Acting like tankies haven't also killed people... I had tankies stalk me on lemmy because I: was under 30, and did not have a political science degree. You'd think that's an exaggeration but it's not.

Became a moderator of c/politics saying that we wouldn't censor based on political view
So you somehow convinced enough mods in a famously defensive community to become a moderator yourself, then you told them you you're letting in right-wing viewpoints? Or did they make you a mod after you said you wouldn't censor?

That's good of them. Why didn't you ban and block the offenders?
They didn't break any rules explicitly, I especially want to be cautious when moderating criticism of moderators.
