logs that fall off of trucks don't behave that way in real life so that's still a ticket

Yeah, you have to run into the log, it doesn't suddenly jump backwards,
But you’re traveling at high speeds and they’d be hard to avoid if they all fell off at once
Yeah but if you brake you will slow down quicker than the logs. The logs won't just suddenly shift their momentum upon falling off and jump into your vehicle.
Now a spinning tire coming off a vehicle is a demon from hell and can do whatever the hell it wants physics be damned.
Rotational momentum is a hell of a thing

Yes. You are both going the same speed. Unless there is some obstacle on the road that will immediately stop the log your brakes will do a better job of slowing you down than a log will just sliding on the road. The bigger danger is honestly driving towards the truck in case this happens
