As someone happily married, I am rather offended at how incredibly shallow this statement is. My wife is nothing short of an incredible human being, and someone assuming I would immediately get over losing her if someone "hotter" instantly replaced her is a horrible statement.

And you just know that there are people IRL who think like this.

They're people who have no idea what an emotional attachment is, they've never had one. To them, women are for sex, decoration and menial labour.
