I'm 42 and I never understood the fascination with celebrity news.
Not when I was younger, and certainly not now.
The most I want to see about celebs is "[famous actor] known for playing [major role] died at [age] from [cause]"
Anything short of that, I just don't have any fucks to give.
I want to know news: that is, something public. I don't care about their private life unless it affects the public in some way. Your private life, who you're dating, who you're divorcing...that isn't news.
Fair enough.
