well sometimes it's the reflection in super clean windows.
other times the birbs be getting drunk off of fermented berries, and flying under the influence.
Damn. I'm a little skeptical of the bird's perfect outline, but this is - unfortunately - a totally realistic scenario. They can hit the glass with such speed that they don't survive.
Some birds are really dusty. My cockatiel used to be really bad at flying and crashed into things and left similar marks but not nearly as perfectly. Thankfully now that he is an old man he can fly quite well. I don't think he could survive much of a crash any more.
