It could still be a prince. In reality, it can take years for a kissed cursed prince to transform back into a human. They have to put on a LOT of mass, and every cell in the body has to change roles in an orderly fashion so the body can continue to function throughout the transformation. It is a grotesque, painful, and often long process.
