WTAF. Assuming we even still have voting, I'm going to be so pissed if this dementia-addled diaper-filling piece of shit means voting in Colorado has to be in-person.

When are they ending voting altogether?
Probably never.
It will be like in Russia: your vote doesn't matter, but elections still take place as a way for the "Great Leader" to assert his power and dominance over the masses. Elections then become a lie that everyone knows but no one can publicly say, a form of exhibitionism in honor of the King's power to control the narrative, to distort reality.
Unfortunately, the new American elections will become a gruesome feast mocking democracy where every guest already knows the results.
How much would it cost realistically for us to go back to paper only, each district or country or however you wanna chop it up is allotted x amount of dollars and y amount of time, and we count this shit one by one on public TV so that if you want to see your own ballot actually be counted and confirmed, you can because they'd be serialized and you could guestimate. People will have backups for calling horseshit, etc. it cannot not be worth it.
I don't give a single fuck about same day results, this is democracy and people's lives for the next decade plus.
I know for a fact it wouldn't cost a single percentage of what this administration alone has cost us.
