What’s next you tech bro wankers, is AI going to drink the pint for me?

… just when you thought they couldn’t force AI into any more things. The epitome of a solution in search of a problem

We need to go back to the time when comupting power was limited so everything needed to be hella efficient, cuz I feel like we have so much of it that we don't know what to use it on.

This is what bugs me about our renewables transition. We should eventually be getting cheaper electricity due to solar overabundance and cost of production going to zero.

Instead, these data centers are gobbling up every free Watt the grid produces, not even paying premium for it, and we're soaking up the costs due to the price of the demand.

This then incentivizes anyone with a home solar setup to never give back to the grid at all, because otherwise you're feeding these assholes

There is an I and an A but there is no "AI" in "IPA." This ad must've been made by an AI.

I asked the AI to be sure:

on won what letter does the "AI" start in "IPA"?

The "ai" sound in IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) starts with the letter "a" in the combination "aɪ" which represents the diphthong sound like the "long i" in words such as "buy," "aisle," and "isle." The IPA sequence "aɪ" begins with the letter "a" and is followed by the letter "ɪ" to form this diphthong sound. So, the "AI" sound in IPA starts on the letter "a." This diphthong consists of two vowel sounds pronounced in one syllable, starting with an open front vowel [a] and gliding to a near-close near-front vowel [ɪ].

So, it's confirmed. The "AI" is there where "IPA" has an "A" followed by an "I".

oh, it's talking about a completely different kind of ipa, lol!
