I feel like part of it is just, how our lawmakers are huge self-serving conniving assholes. Nothing else to it. They don't want to spend the money, they don't want it to be easier for us to get around (for instance, imagine a pregnant woman taking a train out of shithole-Texas to a blue state with real doctors. Control.)

It's like, if we're made completely illegal from just existing, outside of rotting in prison without our meds, or worse, then a lot of us would have literally no choice but to defend ourselves. Because it's literally either that, or just going straight to El Salvador/Alligator-Auschwitz.
Which is of course, what they want. Either they hurt us when we stay passive, or else we try to fight and they get to say, "Look, see, see, they are violent!" and then they hurt us anyway. It never should've come anywhere close to this point. Fuck fascists, and the conservatives that aid them, forever.
