Unless people were going to be eating things like marten and fox anyway, it's not really a fair comparison.

A lot of leather is a byproduct of the meat industry, meaning the animal wasn't killed for leather, the skin was used instead of just being thrown away.

But I've been vegan for over a decade, so I'm not going to be pro-fur anytime soon.

It's pretty bad when the hospitals need to make public announcements that they're closed during certain hours because of lack of staff.

A large-enough group of people were shitty to a lot of health care workers during covid, which sure didn't help staffing ontop of Saskparty budget and policies.

The rule isn't to make your title an honest summary, the rule is to keep the original title.

There's one rule in the side bar, it should be easy to follow.

Keep the original title when submitting an article. You can put your own commentary in the body of the post or in the comment section.

Peter Thiel

A right-wing billionaire who is responsible for a lot modern evils, but he sometimes likes to pull the "I'm not evil or racist, I am gay, so I can't be".

You may have heard of Facebook, or Palantir, or JD Vance.

For those unaware, this isn't something like replacing a slur with removed, he edited users' comments, turning them into insults to other users.

I don't care that those original commenters were (likely) pieces of shit, and the people who he made the comments insult were definitely pieces of shit, putting words into people's mouths to make them fight each other is unforgivable. Even if you put out a shitty apology.

Yep.

Being complacent about how laws and ruling are currently being used, instead of being concerned about how they can be used, is why we've seen abortion bans and restrictions in the USA in recent years.
