There is nothing wrong with owning, hunting for, producing, or selling furs. If you disagree, start your "anti fur trade" campaign with the Indigenous tribes who still rely on it.

We can't ask them, but if we could, I bet you the animals would have a few objections.

I am sure a Deer being taken out by a Cougar objects to that situation as well.

As I said, you are free to take your complaints to the Indigenous community first and convince them their ways of life and traditions need to be stopped.

Let me know how that goes.

If the animals are raised and killed humanly I cant really be against it. Not any different than leather other than the fuzzy animals being cuter, I don't like it but I'm not against it.

Unless people were going to be eating things like marten and fox anyway, it's not really a fair comparison.

A lot of leather is a byproduct of the meat industry, meaning the animal wasn't killed for leather, the skin was used instead of just being thrown away.

But I've been vegan for over a decade, so I'm not going to be pro-fur anytime soon.

Those who are against fur need to fight those who are for synthetics shedding microplatics everywhere.

Who is for shedding microplastics everywhere?

It's not that they are for that but rather they are for owning things that do that as a side effect.
