You know what sucks most about this? We could literally fix many of society’s issues by focussing on education. Hunger, crime, inequality, poverty, climate, population, everything. But that fucks the goals of billionaires, so we won’t.

I mean, I’ve seen this a lot. It’s climate change. Probably because I’m kinda close to it?

Hard to miss here, honestly.

This is the second time in an hour I’ve seen something about cats and citrus, which is very weird, since that doesn’t usually come up.

So, fun and slightly unrelated story:

In the late 80s, when I was a teen, we were driving through the Arizona desert to Mexico and there was this big stretch where there was just nothing. No radio, no rest stops, literally nothing. And I had to pee really bad.

So we pulled over for me to do my business. It was an open desert with nothing to hide behind, so I went a bit from the road and found the biggest bush I could. It was dead and not full enough for much privacy, but far enough that I thought it gave enough cover. So I squatted and pulled down my shorts, and heard a really loud rattle. I didn’t even think. Just scrambled back towards the car, butt naked to the sky, scraping my knees in the dirt. Not even sure when or how I pulled up my shorts.

I’d nearly pissed on a rattlesnake. The adults reassured me that they rattle instead of bite, so I wasn’t in real danger. They thought it was hilarious. I did not.

Sometimes you don’t think, you just do what you can do.

Musk and his kind are the top picture. The US will not benefit from his company’s tech. Socialist systems might, eventually.

Musk is a robber baron on a massive scale.

This is the most American thing I have read in my life. I have lived for more than half a century, some of it in several different US states.

Seriously, if anyone asks what the US is like, show them this post. It’s perfect.

Republican Rep. Thomas Massie roasted Attorney General Pam Bondi after she showed up on Capitol Hill with prepared insults to lob at critics while refusing to answer questions about Jeffrey Epstein.

For hours while being grilled by lawmakers, Bondi repeatedly flipped through her binder while attacking lawmakers who dared to challenge her over the Justice Department’s botched handling of the documents on the pedophile.

“A funny thing about Bondi’s insults to members of Congress who had serious questions: Staff literally gave her flash cards with individualized insults, but she couldn’t memorize them, so you can see her shuffle through them to find the flash-cards-insult that matches the member,” Massie wrote on X on Wednesday afternoon.

The Kentucky lawmaker and regular Trump critic, who forced the vote to release the Epstein files, was one of the only GOP members to challenge Bondi over the Epstein probe.
