It shouldn't be surprising, in the addition to the lack of discipline, propaganda actually works.

I trust OIC and Muslim countries more than I trust any Western source. It is borderline farcical for Western governments and media to pretend to care about the welfare of Muslims in China while directly or indirectly enabling the genocide and ethnic cleansing in Palestine and invasions and war crimes in many other countries as well as the discriminatory policies in their own countries.

OpenAI, and others, lose money on every prompt even with paid subscriptions. The resources will still be wasted by them but to cost them money is priceless.

But which one is a lesser evil?

During my lifetime the US has invaded/bombed and killed thousands [directly or indirectly] in:

  1. Afghanistan
  2. Iraq
  3. Syria
  4. Libya
  5. Sudan
  6. Pakistan

The US has also facilitated a genocide in Palestine through weapon shipments, intelligence sharing, fleet placement and UN vetoes and is now preparing to invade Venezuela.

China has not invaded or bombed any country during my lifetime.

The funny thing about people saying "both countries can be bad" is that they will lose their minds if you tell them "both major parties in the US are bad". Somehow they only accept "lesser-evilism" for themselves but not for others.

Tibet has been a part of China longer than Ohio has been a part of the US. It is clear which indigenous people did better and which practically don't exist anymore.

Yes, the US -and most Western media- lie about the genocide in Gaza, but what does this have to do with the British Empire takeover of Hong Kong?

But have you considered "whiteman good, chinaman bad"?

It's complicated, but I was born in the US though I also hold a citizenship of another country.

I have come to a similar realization but it took me living in the US to experience it for myself. I'm so glad I left back in January of this year.

Instead of kink shaming Destiny, it is more relevant and damning to mention his support for the genocide in Gaza and his advise for Israeli soldiers to not film themselves committing war crimes.

The US did to North Korea what Israel did to the Gaza Strip. It is the same violent settler-colonial mentality. Then USians act surprised that North Korea wants to have nuclear weapons.

This is how the US assessed the damage after 3 weeks of bombing:

  • Ch'osan – 85%
  • Hoeryong (Hoeryŏng) – 90%
  • Huich'on (Hŭich'ŏn) – 75%
  • Kanggye – 75%
  • Kointong – 90%
  • Manp'ochin – 95%
  • Namsi – 90%
  • Sakchu – 75%
  • Sinuichu – 60%
  • Uichu – 20%

The bombing continued for 3 years... Only stopped when the US ran out of targets. "Pyongyang, which saw 75% of its area destroyed, was so devastated that bombing was halted as there were no longer any worthy targets.[30][31] By the end of the campaign, US bombers had difficulty in finding targets and were reduced to bombing footbridges or jettisoning their bombs into the sea.[32]"
