Which is even scarier. Most of us knew it was only going to get worse, and deep fakes are just going to add fuel to the dumpster fire.

It's a real worry. I watched a Rachel Maddow video on youtube recently and got several minutes in before I realised it was fake, it was very convincing. How is society going to function when none of us know what's real and what's not?
