Amy Klobuchar learned that a video clip of her was going viral on social media. So she clicked on it. She saw her face and her voice saying vulgar things she had never said. It was an AI deepfake. in c/technology@lemmy.world

She has a well earned reputation of sounding in private just like in the video . I’m sure the video is not her, but it was really accurate in tone; which is why it’s getting traction
