In the past I would have said Ubuntu, then kubuntu, but I have had problems lately with things not "just working" because they were installed as a snap.
If I had to recommend something, I would still recommend Ubuntu because of the community, and the ui being generally well polished.

This is why when people tell me that Linux Mint is user-friendly, I usually assume they don't use it themselves.

I have no idea how any of this is different. Sudo does things as root. Sudo -i logs you in as root where you can do things. So if there is a difference it is v subtle.

It must depend on the area of the country; we never hear about the bible. But we have heard from Pagans and Zen Buddhists.



For me, Ubuntu still lives up to the moniker of "pre-configured Debian". I like using it on servers, but on desktops I find there is lots of initial config it requires.
