- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

On a related note, the Amish "beard and no mustache" came about because early on, the British Army required mustaches, and the Amish wanted to be sure that they weren't like people who make war.
The army required muataches? How long?
I think they still can wear mustaches to some degree, a prick mustache is always a good career move in the violent Arts. It also is the last piece of facial hair to go Gray so people like to Showcase that part.

British officers being required to sport a stache might be my favorite so far.
One of my biggest fears (well, I only think about it when I'm shaving, but you get the idea) is that my electric razor dies before I'm done and I end up with a hitlerstache. I always do that part first, just in case!
