"We did it, Patrick! We made a technological breakthrough!"

A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.

AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

It's blatant misinformation based on false data.

You can also read Kurzgesagt's 'response', which cherry picks two arguments, twists them, doesn't even properly respond to them, and ignores all other points made. In perfect, corporate PR fashion.

I have watched this video a few months ago, and the comments were still on. It must be a recent change. No clue why

A weird change

A video where you expose a big company seems like an odd choice to block public commentary on seeing as how we currently live in a world where big companies can get away with conducting actual genocides
