How do you get this to work remotely easily for old people on smart tvs?
Domain + reverse proxy. The security issues some people here claim are significantly overblown.
Or, unpopular opinion, use Cloudflare tunnels. Almost too easy to setup and free of charge. Much easier than reserve proxy imho. Of course it has drawbacks, e.g. many are critical toward the company
Cloudflare tunnels need logins, depend on cloudflare, and allow cloudflare to sniff all your traffic.
They're easy, but we should stop recommending them. They're a terrible solution, both for the internet as a whole and for your personal privacy.
