you're confusing actual leftists with MLs

MLs are leftists, don't even try to pretend they are not.

"You're confusing actual leftists with the most successful tradition of Leftist political thought, which is highly diverse and continues to guide multiple States and movements today"

This is how these people sound. Obviously there are lots of things we can and should criticise about various ML projects. But this knee-jerk dismissal of an entire terrain of leftist thought, along with a general fetishization of failure, and refusal to engage with the complexities of governance, is intellectually lazy and unbecoming of "real leftists".
