Yet they're still having wrestling event in Saudi Arabia while putting out state department bulletins ordering all non-essential personnel to leave immediately. I'm sure this won't cause problems or put people in any unnecessary danger.

Saudi Arabia is a big country. Most of Saudi Arabia is not at risk, despite it being within range. It is just that its oil exports go through three chokepoints, and all of its oil fields are concentrated in the east.

And most people travelling to ksa go through one of two chokepoints (Jeddah or Riyadh airports). Both Iran and Ansarullah have struck airports, looking to cause economic harm. Of course they wouldn't specifically target WWE, but if the airport where it's being held keeps getting struck by missiles every month, it looks a lot less desirable. Multiply that times however many other glitzy sportswashing bullshit events ksa is doing

And of course the WWE wouldn't care about putting their employees in danger, but the insurance will at least cost more

Saudi Arabia has multiple international airports as well as land and sea connections to neighbouring countries.
