They entrench themselves into capitalism so deeply because it allows them to do exactly that. Wealth is virtue, because the invisible hand gives those who contribute more, and those who don't less. Please ignore all the systems that ensure the wealthy stay wealthy while the poor have no way in; you'd have to be "woke" to believe those systems exist.
