We get universal healthcare because Mamdani convinces Trump that it will destroy Obama's legacy and he can call it TrumpCare forever. A lasting legacy that Trump is craving as his approval tanks. Honestly, there is a nonzero chance this could happen.
Every single possible trump scenario imaginable has a nonzero chance, that's kinda one of the core Trump issues imo.
