MAGA firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene has joined forces with Democrats to pressure the Trump administration to release the entirety of the Epstein files

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said the CIA, FBI and the Justice Department “holds the truth” on Jeffrey Epstein as she vowed to reveal “every damn name” of the purported high-powered clients of the late financier’s underage sex trafficking operation.

The Georgia representative, a Trump loyalist, dialed up the pressure on her own party by speaking at a news conference on Capitol Hill Wednesday, hosted by fellow rogue GOP Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna of California.

Greene has backed Massie’s “Epstein Files Transparency Bill,” along with fellow GOP congress members Lauren Boebert and Nancy Mace. They were joined by as many as 100 survivors of Epstein’s abuse at the event.

I'll believe it when I see it, but it's crazy that there are Dems getting outflanked on Epstein and Gaza by broken clocks.

It isnt really, if you can take yourself away from opposing the idea that they are both as bad as each other. The dems, IMO, are the main reason we ever saw what a Trump presidency looks like at all. The DNC fucking about to make sure Hilary got the nom, when America was begging for change, was nothing short of a self inflicted gunshot to the head.

Bernie, would have beaten Trump. Even Republicans at the time were saying they would vote for Bernie. Trump won, because he was pushing the "Ill drain the swamp" thing. Hilary was just more of the same, woman or not, she was a card carrying member of everything that people wanted to change.

Just last year, AOC, the young and future Bernie, was up for a committee seat that would have been a great stepping stone to running in 28. But the OAPs led by Nancy Pelosi were having none of it, and forced through getting a 75 year old man who was dying of cancer in the seat instead of a 35 year old woman in her prime. 4 months later, that old dude died. And AOC has said she wont run for the seat again, because nothing has changed in the Democratic caucus and they would still vote in old cunts that only care about themselves.

America needs a third option. Because the state of left and right parties is a joke.

America needs a third option. Because the state of left and right parties is a joke.

We definitely need more options, but I think "a third option" is the wrong way to look at it.

First is that it is not feasible at the federal level without changing the constitution. That is not happening any time soon. I expect a collapse and rebuild to come much sooner than the Rs and Ds pulling off a once in a generation collaboration effort to... make keeping their jobs harder.

And second is that we don't want slightly more predefined slots for parties that we take seriously. The fix of some kind of ranked choice or STAR voting system would allow for varying numbers of candidates.

What left party? You seriously don't consider the democrats to be left-wing do you?

[–] Bennyboybumberchums@lemmy.world 1 points 11 hours ago

I consider them to be the "left" option for Americans. But no, I dont consider them to be left.

[–] Ilovethebomb@sh.itjust.works 8 points 14 hours ago

It really does show how fucking useless they are.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 5 points 17 hours ago

Not that crazy. She wants attention and this is where the cameras are at

[–] ripcord@lemmy.world 1 points 17 hours ago

It seems like sometimes she does stuff like this as a tactic to get more attention and potentially power by people making concessions to shut her up
